Central Plaza Ladprao is a huge shopping complex owned by Central Pattana situated on Phahon Yothin Road, at the end of Lat Phrao Road in Chatuchak District, Bangkok. Opened in 25 December 1982, it was the Thailand's first integrated shopping complex. The shopping mall has a total gross area of over 100,000 square metres, including 56,000 square metres dedicated to retail shops, and 33,000 square metres of underground parking and the 15-storey of office tower. Integral to the mall is the 25-storey building that includes the Bangkok Convention Centre Hall and the Centara Grand Hotel, together offering all that is needed for guests staying in Bangkok on leisure or business. Partially renovated in 2011, Central Plaza hosts around 300 stores and 90 dining options and restaurants, distributed on the seven floors of Central Department Store, four floors of Main plaza and the five floors of Left wing plaza. The main anchor stores include Power Buy, Super Sports, B2S, Tops Supermarket and a SFX Cinema with 9 screens for a total of 3,000 seats. At Central Plaza Ladprao you can find well-known international fashion brands including Calvin Klein, Zara, Armani Jeans, Muji, Topshop, Forever 21, Adidas, Guess, and Esprit, as well as Thai clothing brands, such as Greyhound, Jaspal and Lyn Around. Inside mall there is also a great selection of stores dedicated to electronics, mobile phones and cameras. Outside the mall is a small market space selling mostly clothes and accessories.
